Azerbaijan And Venezuela Foreign Ministers Discuss Peace, Bilateral Cooperation and International Relations
On January 13, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, held a telephone conversation with Yván Gil Pinto, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela. The discussion focused on recent developments in Venezuela and the state of bilateral and multilateral relations.
During the call, Bayramov expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in recent incidents in Venezuela. He expressed hope that peace and stability would be restored while preserving national unity. Gil Pinto provided an overview of the internal situation, noting that state institutions remain fully operational.
The Venezuelan foreign minister also emphasized that dialogue with the United States is ongoing. He highlighted the resumption of activities by US companies, particularly in the energy sector, and negotiations aimed at reopening embassies. Both ministers emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties based on mutual support within international organizations, such as the UN and the Non-Aligned Movement.
