Muslim Khuchiev, the Chairman of the Chechen Government, commented on being included in the new sanctions list of the US Department of the Treasury.

"Like any patriot of our country, I took this news with pride. The persistence of our 'friends' can only be envied: despite all the ridiculousness of their actions, the realization that sanctions against Russia and its citizens are ineffective, the nursing home, or rather the White House, and Europe, have been rolling out their sanctions lists in large print runs for a long time," Khuchiev added.

According to the Chechen official, the life of those on the sanctions list does not change at all. "Work for the benefit of our country and its citizens, as well as the fight against fascism continues. Speaking of fascism, in Europe, do they still remember where the roots grow from? And Biden, announcing new restrictions against Russia, is he aware of how many wars the US has brought to the world under the hot sauce with the loud name 'fight against terrorism?' It would be a good idea to slip the President of the United States a cheat sheet with the history of his country or remind him again that they are sponsors of the very terrorism in Ukraine. Isn't that hypocrisy? Are they so stupid or blind if they think people believe in their idea?" Khuchiev asked.

"Even though we are not heard/understood abroad and in Europe, we will not stop repeating that no sanctions will make us topple or doubt the fidelity of our course, which was indicated to us by the first president of the Chechen Republic Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov. We are under sanctions - so we are on the right path!" he concluded.

Mansur Soltayev, the Ombudsman for Human Rights in the Chechen Federal Republic, was also included in the list. "Another round of sanctions. And we spit on them from a high tower. The US has expanded its sanctions list on Russia, imposing restrictions on 11 individuals, including me. I'm proud to be on the list with some of the most honorable people. It is a great honor to be on the same list with Aymani Kadyrova, [Kadyrov's mother and] the President of the Regional Public Foundation named after Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov," he reacted.

Soltayev noted that Aymani Kadyrova's charitable activities are known all over the world. "Millions of people in many countries have received help in the form of food, medicines, clothes, and much more from the foundation headed by her. Thousands of lives have been saved by paying for treatment in expensive clinics. Huge assistance is provided to the residents of the liberated territories - new regions of Russia, as well as to the fighters. No sanctions will prevent us from doing good, creating, telling the truth, and protecting the peaceful population of Donbas, including defenseless children who have suffered from the arbitrary rule of the criminal Kyiv regime. The ridiculous US sanctions show that we are on the right path," the Ombudsman added.
