Inaugural Armenia–US Bilateral Working Group Meeting Held
On December 17, the inaugural meeting of the Armenia-US Bilateral Working Group in Support of the Outcomes of the August 8, 2025 Peace Summit was held. Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and Sonata Coulter, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, delivered opening remarks and praised the actively developing Armenia-US strategic partnership.
Deputy Minister Kostanyan emphasized the invaluable support of the US in establishing peace in the South Caucasus and reiterated Armenia’s commitment to advancing the implementation of the Armenia-US Memoranda of Understanding signed on August 8. These include the Crossroads of Peace Capacity Building Partnership, the AI and Semiconductor Innovation Partnership, and the Energy Security Partnership.
Both sides underscored the substantial progress made in implementing the Memoranda of Understanding and shared updates on their respective achievements. They agreed to follow up on the concrete outcomes reached at the expert level in a timely manner.
