
Police officers shot in Ingushetia

On the night of 28 March, unknown assailants opened fire on a police post in Ingushetia. Two people were injured in an attack by unidentified persons on a police post. The attackers were travelling in a silver VAZ-21099 car. According to preliminary information, there were at least three men.
"Unidentified persons attacked a post in the area of Kantyshevo, the police returned fire. The attackers fled, and the [Federal] Republic announced the plan 'Interception'," the release said.
According to the Investigative Committee, unknown persons, using unidentified firearms, attacked a police post in North Ossetia-Alania at the junction of the Nazran-Kantyshevo and Malgobek-Maiskoye highways. The Investigative Department of the Prigorodny District opened a criminal case for an offence under Art. 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer).
