Ramzan Kadyrov Provides Massive Financial Support for Russia's Invasion of Ukraine
On March 24, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, announced that the Akhmat Kadyrov Regional Public Foundation had allocated 36.8 billion rubles (€395.8 million) to support Russia’s military operation in Ukraine.
"The ROF has allocated approximately 36 billion 800 million rubles [€395.8 million] solely for the needs of the SVO [Russo-Ukrainian War]," Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel while listing Chechnya’s achievements over the past 25 years.
He also emphasized that the fund had played a significant role in Chechnya’s economic development.
