Virgil-Daniel Popescu, Romania's Minister of Energy, referred to President Klaus Iohannis' letter to President Ilham Aliyev on the 30th anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic ties, as well as the President's invitation to visit Romania.

On the same day, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Romanian Energy Minister Virgil-Daniel Popescu and Special Envoy for Strategic and International Affairs Ana Birchall, as well as the delegation, which comprised top Transgaz and Romgaz officials.
