"Language difference cannot separate the peoples of Iran and Armenia"

Within the framework of the regional meeting of ecology ministers, Ali Selagegh, the chairman of Iran's Ecology Organization, met with Hakob Simidyan, Armenia's Environment Minister.

Touching on the historical and cultural roots of Iran and Armenia, Selagegh said: "We believe that the language difference cannot separate the peoples of Iran and Armenia from each other. Just as our dear Armenian compatriots in our country enjoy all the rights and advantages of Iranian citizenship."

He added: "Neighbor countries should be together in joy and sorrow, and our people should live happy days thanks to this friendship and kindness." The Iranian Minister claimed that his country has valuable experience in environmental problems and said that Iran is ready to share this experience with the region's countries, including friendly and brotherly Armenia.

At the meeting, Hakob Simidyan also touched on extensive cooperation between Iran and Armenia in various fields.

Abbas Moghtadaei, the Deputy Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, believes a new chapter of cooperation between Iran and Armenia is emerging, so they should use all legal means, diplomatic relations, and parliamentary diplomacy in this direction.

Emphasizing that the development of cooperation with neighboring countries is on the agenda of the 11th parliament of Iran and the 13th government of Iran, Moghtadaei added: "There is no doubt that Armenia has economic, trade, transport relations with other countries in the South Caucasus and Iran is one of the countries that can help improve relations."

According to him, the Islamic Republic of Iran can realize the South-North Corridor with the cooperation of Armenia and Georgia. 

A big conference of Iranian-Armenian businessmen was held in Tehran

A big conference of business people and entrepreneurs of Iran and Armenia was held in Tehran for the first time.

According to the press release of the conference, the first meeting of the Union of Armenian Businessmen living in Iran was held on July 14, with the participation of a group of Iranian and Armenian businessmen, entrepreneurs, and tradesmen who play an essential role in the development of industrial production and economy in the country, Holy Mary Charity Center and Armenians living in Iran. It was organized with the support of the Community Social Culture Association.
