Reaction from Azerbaijan
Azerbaijani expert on Armenia, Vusal Mammadzada, stated that in recent days, the region had witnessed Iran's activity in the political processes. “The visits of Iranian officials to Azerbaijan, as well as the visit of the Azerbaijani foreign minister to Iran, are interesting. The Turkish president will also go to Iran this month,” he added.
“In parallel with the processes, it is noteworthy that some Western countries have urged their citizens not to visit Iran. Some political analysts think that the next target of the West is Iran. Iran is reassessing relations with its neighbors and trying to solve existing problems to prepare itself for new political processes. Iran intends to strengthen relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey by developing more economic relations. This is the main goal of joint projects with Azerbaijan,” the expert concluded.
