Notably, former US President Donald Trump was shot in the ear during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Although his life is not in danger, one rally participant was killed, and two others are in grave condition. The incident occurred while Trump was addressing supporters. The FBI described the shooting as an assassination attempt against the former president. Authorities identified the gunman as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, whom Secret Service agents killed at the scene.
