Armenia

Suren Papikyan Visits UAE

On November 17, during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Suren Papikyan, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, met with His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Crown Prince of Dubai. The sides discussed prospects for strengthening Armenia-UAE defence cooperation and emphasized their readiness to deepen bilateral ties in the defence sector. They agreed on the intention to sign an agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates on cooperation in the field of defence, which would outline the key areas of future collaboration. On the same day, the Minister of Defence participated in the opening of the "Dubai Airshow 2025" international exhibition.

Azerbaijan

NATO Course Launched In Azerbaijan

On November 18, a course on "Studying Experience" was launched in Azerbaijan by the Mobile Training Team of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, the Netherlands. Lieutenant General Azer Aliyev, Chief of the Main Operational Department of the Ministry of Defense, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening Azerbaijan–NATO military cooperation. The international event will include both theoretical and practical sessions on NATO’s operational planning and management processes.

Azerbaijani And Belarusian Special Forces Hold Bilateral Meeting

On November 18, a meeting was held between representatives of the Special Forces of both Azerbaijan and Belarus, within the framework of their bilateral cooperation plan. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation and discussed proposals of mutual interest.

Turkish National Defense University Delegation Visits Azerbaijan

On November 19, a delegation led by Professor Serdar Salman, the Vice-Rector of the Turkish National Defense University, visited Azerbaijan. Major General Arif Hasanov emphasized that Azerbaijani–Turkish military cooperation is built on friendly, fraternal, and allied relations and highlighted the benefits this partnership brings to the development of military education.

Azerbaijan And Italy Exchange Expertise On Mountainous Search-And-Rescue

On November 20, an expert meeting on "Search and Rescue of Individuals in Distress in Mountainous Terrain" was held in Cervia, Italy, where specialists from both countries exchanged experience.

Azerbaijan Participates In Dubai Airshow 2025

On November 21, Lieutenant General Namig Islamzade, the Deputy Minister of Defense and Commander of the Air Force, and Agil Gurbanov, the Deputy Minister of Defense and Director General, visited the UAE to participate in the Dubai Airshow 2025. For the first time, Azerbaijan was represented at the exhibition by a stand of "MIRAS Military-Industrial Company" LLC, which operates under the Ministry of Defense.

Georgia

Military Exercises

On November 19, during the inter-agency headquarter training "Didgori 2025", intensive field activities were conducted with broad participation from various operational components. For the first time, the National Agency of Military Challenge and Recruitment of the National Agency of the Armed Forces of Ukraine participated in "Didgori". On November 20, representatives of the Defense Forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted joint training in the Black Sea within the same framework. The overall aim of "Didgori 2025" was to refine coordination and interaction among government bodies during crisis, emergency, and wartime conditions. The teaching program consisted of 29 field components across numerous municipalities. On November 21, reservists of the National Guard conducted field exercises in Telavi, Kakheti region.

Georgia Meets Turkish Officials Following Military Plane Crash

On November 22, during a meeting at the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense of Georgia, held talks with Yashar Kadioglu, the Lieutenant General and Director of Evaluation and Inspection of the Air Force of the Republic of Turkey. The representatives of Turkey thanked the Georgian side for its prompt response and support in the search and rescue efforts following the Turkish military plane crash that occurred near the Georgia–Azerbaijan border. The Turkish military aircraft crashed on November 11 approximately 5 kilometers from the Georgian state border, resulting in the deaths of 20 servicemen of the Turkish military-air force.
