
Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan Meet in Washington

On November 7, Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, held a meeting in Washington DC, USA, the press offices of the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministries reported. The ministers were hosted at the Blair House, where a joint meeting with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also took place.
The Ministers shared views on the elements of a possible peace treaty. They acknowledged that a range of issues still needs to be addressed. Both sides reiterated the commitments undertaken by the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan in their meetings on October 6 in Prague and October 31 in Sochi.
They agreed to expedite their negotiations and organize another meeting in the coming weeks.
Both ministers expressed their appreciation to the US side for hosting the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
