
Armenia and Azerbaijan Conducted Tank Exercises

On July 28, tank and motorized rifle units of one of the military units of the Armenian army conducted tactical exercises with live firing, the Press Service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported.
The task of the exercises was to improve the field training of units and increase the level of combat readiness, coherence, and efficiency of units. The servicemen with long-range fire destroyed an enemy who attacked the defensive line. "The command highly appreciated the actions of the military personnel and the skills to perform the assigned tasks," the Ministry of Defense noted.
Moreover, on the same day, at the combined arms training ground with the tank crews of the Azerbaijani army, firing exercises were held. The exercises were held in accordance with the combat training plan for 2022, the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported.
Tank crews carried out the task of destroying enemy targets and anti-tank weapons from the ground and on the move after crossing minefields and overcoming natural and artificial obstacles. "During the training, the main attention was paid to increasing the combat readiness of tank units and improving the individual skills of the crews," the military department noted.
