Simonyan emphasized that the relaxation of visa requirements will enhance interpersonal connections and serve as a significant indicator of EU support for Armenia. He expressed his belief that this development would mark a new phase of progress, contributing to both strengthened ties between individuals and an important political gesture of solidarity with the Armenian people.

Furthermore, the parliament speaker underscored Armenia's aspiration to integrate into a community that upholds EU values. He highlighted Yerevan's commitment to addressing security concerns and enhancing the country's defense capabilities through diversification.

Simonyan expressed gratitude to the EU for dispatching a civilian mission to Armenia, acknowledging its positive impact on bolstering security in border regions adjacent to Azerbaijan.
