During a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on May 23, Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov reported on the socio-economic situation in Chechnya.

Kadyrov stated, "It is stable. All branches of the economy are developing systematically. We are implementing more than 500 investment projects, including constructing two hydroelectric power plants, a new airport and railway station, and the modernization of a cement plant. We are taking necessary measures to reduce unemployment. By the end of the year, we will achieve a reduction of the indicator to 5%. Now it is at the level of 7.5%. This will be facilitated by the creation of over 10,000 jobs through investments. We also have good rates of housing construction. In Grozny alone, we are building a new district named after Putin with 2 million square meters of housing and 900 thousand square meters of various social facilities."

Kadyrov also reported on the region's participation in the Strategic Defense Forces. He noted, "Since the beginning of the operation, 43,500 fighters, including 18,000 volunteers, have been sent to the North Caucasus Military District. All of them have been trained in Russia and are going to their destination with full equipment. Thanks to the participation of the fund named after Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, the necessary special vehicles are being purchased permanently — 1,693 units so far, along with about 6,000 quadrocopters, with around 100 more being purchased daily."

The fund also provides necessary assistance to wounded fighters and the families of the deceased, sending humanitarian aid to territories liberated from Ukrainian Nazism, amounting to a total of 26,000 tons. Kadyrov stated, "Once again told the head of state that on the first order, several tens of thousands of trained and equipped fighters from the reserve are ready to go to the special operation zone."
