
De-facto Ministers from Georgian Separatist Regions Meet in Moscow

On November 8, the de-facto foreign ministers of the separatist South Ossetia/Tskhinvali Region and occupied Abkhazia, Inal Ardzinba and Akhsar Jioev, met in Moscow, the Press Office of the occupied Tskhinvali region reported.
The two parties addressed bilateral cooperation and reconfirmed the shared aim to strengthen and enhance the South Ossetia-Abkhaz dialogue. They stressed the necessity of maintaining peace in the South Caucasus and security issues.
Tskhinvali stated that the state's assistance to the political and socioeconomic development of the republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, as well as the Russian efforts to preserve calm in the region, were greatly appreciated.
According to the de-facto Abkhaz Foreign Ministry, the conference also discussed the military-political situation in the South Caucasus and the present condition of the Geneva International Discussions (GID).
