  • Kadyrov got more than 99% of votes in the elections for the head of Chechnya

Ramzan Kadyrov won 99.63% of the votes in the elections for the head of Chechnya, the election commission said after processing 53.88% of the votes.

On September 16, it became known that rallies with the participation of state employees and civil servants, who urged residents of the federal republic to vote, were held in different settlements of Chechnya Federal Republic. Workers of the Spiritual Directorate of the region were directly and indirectly campaigning for the current leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in the elections for the head of the region. The participation of the clergy in campaigning for Kadyrov directly violates federal law. On September 18, residents of Chechnya pointed to the involvement of state employees in campaigning for the vote.

According to preliminary data, the acting head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is leading the elections for the head of the region. After processing 53.88% of the votes, he won 99.63% of the vote.

The candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Khalid Nakayev, according to preliminary data, received 0.15% of the vote. Former mayor of Grozny, deputy head of the administration of the head and government of Chechnya, Isa Khadzhimuradov, nominated by the Just Russia - For Truth party received 0.19%, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Central Election Commission of Russia.

Remember that on September 15, the Chechnya Insider published an entry about the elections in Chechnya, in which he indicated that in June, local residents knew Ramzan Kadyrov would be re-elected when Vladimir Putin invited him to run for office. This meant an extension of Kadyrov's term in office. At the same time, Kadyrov had two competitors in the elections - an unknown deputy of the local parliament, Khalid Nakayev, and an official, Isa Khadzhimuradov. They were probably both made an offer that they could not refuse, suggested the author of the blog.

  • United Russia won parliamentary elections in Chechnya

United Russia won 89.2% of the votes in the parliamentary elections in Chechnya, ahead of Fair Russia and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Central Election Commission reported.

On September 17-19, voting took place for State Duma seats. In Chechnya, direct elections were also held for the head of the republic, elections to the parliament and the city duma of Grozny. Ramzan Kadyrov won 99.63% of the votes in the elections for the head of Chechnya, the election commission said after processing 53.88% of the protocols.

According to the Central Election Commission, the second place in the elections to the Chechen parliament was won by the Just Russia - Patriots - For the Truth party (5.59% of the vote), the third - by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (5.16%).

  • Election Commission of North Ossetia reported “United Russia” victory in elections

In North Ossetia, "United Russia," according to preliminary data, received more than 71% of the vote, and the State Duma candidate from the ruling party Artur Taymazov received over 76%, the head of the republic's Central Election Commission said.

At polling stations in Vladikavkaz, peoples' attempts to vote were recorded and an unreasonably large number of ballots were issued for on-site voting, observers from opposition parties reported on September 19. According to the Central Election Commission of Russia, in comparison with the 2016 elections, the turnout in North Ossetia increased by 27.71%.

According to the preliminary for this year’s election, the turnout in North Ossetia was 86.61%. 14 political parties participated in the elections. The clear leader, according to the Central Election Commission of the republic, was "United Russia," gaining 71.12% or 320,410 thousand votes. The second place was taken by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation at 11.49% (51 782), third  place by the party "Fair Russia - for the truth" with 10.54% (47 507), and the fourth place was taken by the Liberal Democratic Party at 1.43% (6430), head of the Central Election Commission of North Ossetia Zhanna Morgoeva said during a briefing.

The turnout in single-mandate constituency was 86.27%. Seven candidates ran for the post of State Duma deputy. The leader according to the preliminary voting results was the representative of United Russia Artur Taymazov, who gained 76.01% (340 844 votes), second place was taken by the representative of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Soslan Bestaev, gaining 5.51% (24 725), third place was “Fair Russia” Soslan Didarov - 5.33% (23,915). The fourth place was taken by the representative of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Alan Makayev - 3.95% (17,733), the fifth-place by the representative of the "Motherland" Kazbek Zoloev - 3.21% (14,396), the sixth by the representative of the "Communists of Russia" Nugzar Musulbes - 2, 46% (11,039). The representative of the Green Party Tamerlan Bigaev received the least votes - 1.72% (7692), the head of the republican CEC announced.

  • Three parties entered the People's Assembly of Dagestan

According to election results, United Russia, Fair Russia and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will be represented in the People's Assembly of Dagestan, the election committee said.

From 17 to 19 September in Dagestan Federal Republic, voting took place for the State Duma, the People's Assembly of the Federal Republic and local government bodies. Local journalists pointed to low voter and opposition activism. By the evening of September 19, the turnout in Dagestan, according to the election commission, exceeded 76%, but observers found that it was less than 25%.

According to the election results, three parties will enter the People's Assembly of Dagestan of the seventh convocation: United Russia - 73.74%, A Just Russia - Patriots - For Truth - 12.71% and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation - 11.62%. The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia and the Growth Party did not receive the required number of votes to enter the republican parliament, the Dagestan election commission reported.

In the elections to the State Duma of Russia, United Russia received 81.18% of the vote in Dagestan, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation received 6.20%, A Just Russia - Patriots - For the Truth received 5.56%, the Liberal Democratic Party received 2.49%, Party growth received 1.05%, the rest of the parties gained less than 1% of the vote, according to a message on the page of the election commission of Dagestan in Instagram. In three single-mandate constituencies, representatives of the ruling party also won the elections to the State Duma. In the Northern constituency No. 10, Abdulhakim Hajiyev received the largest number of votes (84.87%), in the central single-mandate constituency No. 11 - Murad Hajiyev (80.20%), in the southern single-mandate constituency No. 12 - Jamaladin Hasanov (73.31%), the message says.

The elections were attended by 84% of voters on the voting registers, TASS reported, citing the CEC of Dagestan.

In 2016, following the elections to the National Assembly of the republic, United Russia received 75.51% of the vote, A Just Russia had 10.45%, and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation received 9.14% of the vote. The rest of the parties did not get over the 5% barrier.

In Dagestan, elections to the State Duma were held on party lists and in three single-mandate constituencies. 27 candidates for State Duma deputies were registered to participate in the elections, nine in each single-mandate constituency. They were nominated by nine political parties: United Russia, Fair Russia, Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Rodina, LDPR, New People, Yabloko, Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice, Russian Ecological Party Green Each of them nominated one candidate in each single-mandate constituency.

  • Putin recommended three candidates for the post of head of Dagestan

The President of Russia presented three candidates for the post of head of the republic to the People's Assembly of Dagestan. In addition to Sergei Melikov, election commission member Samir Abdulkhalikov and deputy chairman of the People's Assembly Kamil Davdiev were named candidates for the post, the republican parliament said.

In early August, the United Russia party approved the acting head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, as a candidate for the post of head of the republic. It was assumed that the decision on who will lead the republic would be made in September by the new composition of the People's Assembly of Dagestan, the elections for which were held on September 17-19. On August 19 it was announced that A Just Russia submitted to the People's Assembly two more candidates for the post of the head of the region, the chairman of the council of the party's registrar Kamil Davdiev and the secretary of the bureau of this council Murat Paizulayev.

Kamil Davdiev was a deputy of the National Assembly of three convocations, in 2007-2011 he worked as deputy chairman of the committee on interethnic relations, affairs of public and religious associations, and from 2011 to 2016 he was the chairman of this committee. Paizulaev is a deputy of the National Assembly of the last two convocations, chairman of the parliamentary committee for education, science, culture, youth affairs, sports, and tourism.

In Dagestan from 17 to 19 September, elections for State Duma and local self-government bodies positions were also held. The voting was accompanied by reports of incidents. For example, on September 18 in Makhachkala, an attack was made on Ibragim Nazhmudinov, a member of the electoral commission from the Yabloko party, and a member of the electoral commission from the Liberal Democratic Party Salim Khalitov, who, according to him, revealed a number of violations and was removed from the polling station.

  • Candidates from seven parties received mandates in the Astrakhan Regional Duma

The updated composition of the Astrakhan Regional Duma, along with the parties already represented in the parliament, included deputies from the parties "New People," "Rodina," and "Party of Pensioners," as well as one self-nominated candidate, the election commission said.

In the Astrakhan region from 17 to 19 September, along with the elections to the State Duma, elections were held for deputies of the regional Duma, district and village councils, the head of the Akhtubinsky district and the heads of five settlements. A total of 25 election campaigns took place in the region. Before the elections, activists complained about obstacles to access.

Voting was held over three consecutive days - September 17, 18 and 19.

As a reminder, on the first day of voting, September 17, observers recorded violations in the registration of voting documents, cases of mass voting and violations of the election procedure at polling stations in the Astrakhan region. Some of the messages do not correspond to reality, their authors misinterpreted the law, objected the regional election commission. On September 19, observers from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and "Fair Russia" reported that they were trying to prevent them from travelling with members of electoral commissions to vote at home. In addition, some voters have complained about being forced to vote at home, they said.
