Trying to escape the encirclement, the criminals threw a grenade toward law enforcement officers. Both were destroyed by return fire. None of the employees of law enforcement agencies or civilians were injured," the head of Chechnya said. "I ask you not to spread rumors about some unfinished remnants of the bandit group, their sudden attack on the security forces, and similar fakes. The criminals have been identified and neutralized," Kadyrov added.

Moreover, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to submit a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case into the encroachment on the life of law enforcement officers committed in Chechnya on the night of March 29.
