On October 1, the Georgian Dream (GD) party released a statement proclaiming that today, the Georgian state is sovereign as never before.

According to the ruling party, the administration of the Georgian Dream is the first government in the last 30 years under which Georgia did not endure conflict. "The dream on which our political movement was formed was the unification of Georgia and the trickling down of welfare to each household. We are certain that this aspiration of every Georgian national will be realized shortly," the statement added.

Furthermore, it was said that their major guiding principles would continue to be upholding peace in the nation, economic growth, enhancing population welfare, and robust preservation of human dignity, freedom, and equality. The ruling party emphasized how the Georgian people overthrew the criminal, totalitarian dictatorship that was trampling upon all those ideals and principles precisely ten years ago under the leadership of GD founder Bidzina Ivanishvili.
