Anna Hakobyan Ends Relationship with Nikol Pashinyan
On February 27, Anna Hakobyan, the wife of Nikol Pashinyan, announced that she had ended her relationship with her husband. Hakobyan clarified that earlier reports circulating on social media about the dissolution of a civil marriage referred specifically to the end of their life together. She stated that she plans to move into a rented apartment, as the residence she has purchased remains under construction.
Addressing her financial situation, Hakobyan noted that she currently has 5 million drams (approximately $13,300) in her bank account. She also emphasized that she will continue her activities at the My Step Foundation.
Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, noted that he respects Anna Hakobyan’s decision. "Over the past 30 years, she has been by my side during all my difficult times, my support and my pillar of strength. I'm not sure I was the same for her. Perhaps I caused her more grief, for which I apologize," he added.
