
Armenia and Ukraine Hold Political Consultations in Kyiv

On June 17, political consultations were held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Ukraine in Kyiv. The delegations were led by Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan and Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Perebiynis.
During the consultations, a wide range of issues on the bilateral political agenda was discussed, along with prospects for further enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual importance. The parties explored collaboration in trade, economic, legal, and other sectors.
The sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest related to international and regional agendas. Both counterparts emphasized the importance of continuous contact and exchanges of views at different levels between the two countries.
The Ukrainian delegation was provided with detailed information about the regional situation due to Azerbaijan's aggression and the occupation of Armenia's sovereign territory, as well as Armenia's efforts aimed at normalization of relations.
Mnatsakan Safaryan informed the Ukrainian delegation about Armenia's "Crossroads of Peace" initiative. This initiative is based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, reciprocity, and equality and aims to ensure stability and economic development in the region.
