On December 4, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia Avet Poghosyan said that the Armenian Ministry of High-Tech Industry (MHI) officially applied to the Russian side, initiating consultations between the competent agencies of the two countries on the implementation of the agreements reached on cooperation in the sphere of mass telecommunications.

According to him, Moscow has accepted the invitation. Consultations are scheduled for mid-December on the issue of alleged violations of clauses 4 and 5 of the interstate agreement between Armenia and Russia in the sphere of mass telecommunications, as well as fulfillment of obligations within the framework of the document.

"The Armenian side is ready to take consistent steps to fulfill the obligations undertaken by the aforementioned agreement, as well as to exclude (its) violations," Poghosyan stressed.
