On August 4, 30 more children who suffered from the war in Ukraine were brought to Azerbaijan.

The children in the camp organized by the Social Services Agency will be involved in 14-day rehabilitation activities in Baku, Shamakhi, Gabala, and Sheki. Through individual consultations, group therapies, meditation and yoga exercises, psycho-social training, and master classes conducted by professional psychologists, the emotional states of those children will be stabilized, and their integration into society will be ensured. English language courses and tours to historical places and museums will be organized for them.

Vladislav Kanevsky, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, said that for the second year, the rehabilitation and recreation project of Ukrainian children who suffered as a result of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine is being implemented together with Azerbaijani friends.

"This time, hospitable Azerbaijan was visited by the children of those who defended the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine from the Russian invaders or, unfortunately, died for the sake of the bright future of our homeland. A rich two-week program, a lot of colorful and positive emotions await our children," the ambassador noted.

Notably, the total amount of humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan in connection with the crisis in Ukraine is more than EUR 22 million. In addition, a total of 120 Ukrainian children who suffered from the war and lost family members were brought to Azerbaijan for medical and social-psychological rehabilitation.
