Chairman of Dagestani Government Visits Russo-Ukrainian Frontline
On December 27, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, the Chairman of the Dagestani government, met with military personnel from Dagestan at the Russo-Ukrainian front line. He spoke with the fighters of the Akhmat special forces, where Dagestanis also serve.
"I am very pleased that in this situation, you are performing your combat missions under the strict guidance of experienced generals Esedulla Abachev and Apty Alaudinov. It is situations like this that bring people together even more. It was meant to be so by Allah Almighty. We are one people with our fraternal Chechen people," the official said.
Apty Alaudinov, the commander of the Akhmat special forces, noted that among the Akhmat fighters, there are many Dagestanis and representatives of other nations. "Today, and I want the whole Caucasus, the whole of Russia, to hear it. The ideological ground that exists under this unit, the path that Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov [Ramzan Kadyrov's father] left us, is the path that leads to unification. I have fighters of all nationalities in my unit - Avars, Dargins, Kumyks, Tabasarans. Most importantly, these guys would not have returned to the 2nd and 3rd contracts without our one-man command. We are one family. It does not matter to me who is of what nationality. At the front, we are all brothers, we have one idea," Alaudinov said.
Moreover, Dagestan sent 35 tons of humanitarian aid to the separatist Luhansk People's Republic for military personnel. Abdulmuslimov transferred the cargo to the frontline.
