Chechnya and Ingushetia have the highest mortgage rate in Russia
The North Caucasus have the highest mortgage rate in Russia: in Chechnya, it reaches 8.11%, and in Ingushetia - 8.22%. The other republics have higher than normal rates: Karachay-Cherkessia (6.95%) and Kabardino-Balkaria (7.1%).
The cheapest place to take out a mortgage in Russia is in the Far East: in the Primorsky Territory the average rate is 6.2%, Magadan - 6.35%, in Chukotka - 6.36%.
The regions of the North Caucasus and the South of Russia regularly find themselves among the outliers in economic ratings.
Earlier it was reported that six republics of the North Caucasus were among the outliers in the rating of regions in terms of unemployment.
According to a study by the Civil Society Development Fund, the lowest average wages in Russia are in Chechnya - €366, Dagestan - €390, Kabardino-Balkaria - €390, and Ingushetia – €427.
In March of this year, Chechnya was in last, 81st place, in Russia in terms of average wages in the provinces. The situation is slightly better in Kabardino-Balkaria, which is in 80th line place. Dagestan took 78th place, Karachay-Cherkessia - 77th, Kalmykia - 76th.
