Georgian Dream's Actions 'Disgusting,' Says Ukrainian Presidential Adviser

| News, Politics, Georgia

On September 11, Mykhailo Podolyak, the Adviser to the Head of Office of the President of Ukraine, described the behavior of the Georgian government formed by the Georgian Dream party as disgusting.

The Ukrainian official believes Georgia has no chance to become a member of the EU. "Georgia will not have a chance to enter the European Union during these periods, due to the absolute rejection of European values, maximum pro-Russian, genocidal type of behavior - the humiliation of its own ex-president, the humiliation of its own incumbent president - demonstratively Zourabichvili falls under the impeachment law and the maximum disgusting behavior of the government called Georgian Dream," he said.

He also commented on the visit of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell to Georgia on September 7-8. According to Podolyak, the European diplomat tried to set the foolish potential partners on the path of truth. The official called Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, a foolish person who cannot fail to realize that going in the direction of Russia means following a famous glorious ship.

"I like the position of Mr. Borrell and other EU representatives, who are trying to explain in a dialogical format the principles of the modern world and to set misguided potential partners on the right path. Borrel makes it clear that to go next to Russia in the Russian direction is to follow the famous, glorious ship. Accordingly, it seems to me that you have to be a very stupid person while being the prime minister of a country not to really understand where you are leading your own country," Podolyak said.

Podolyak emphasized that the war will be brought to an end, and after the fall of Putin's power vertical, many countries will look different - Georgia among them.
