| News, Security, North Caucasus

At a meeting with the commanders of the republic's law enforcement agencies on August 7, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, discussed issues related to the "special military operation" [Russo-Ukrainian War].

Kadyrov first touched upon the issues of updating the material and technical base of Chechen units. "If at the very beginning of the 'special military operation' there was a need for heavy military equipment, now the situation is the opposite. This is due to a change in tactics and conditions of combat. Thanks to the prompt measures taken, we can quickly respond to our units' requests, " Chechnya's head said.

Kadyrov stressed, "The Chechen authorities are taking measures to ensure that all new power structures have at their disposal the necessary material and technical means and are provided with living conditions."

"Currently, the situation on the front line is stable. Our guys are ready to repel any enemy attack, regardless of the amount of equipment and manpower. The head of state has repeatedly noted the high combat capability and effectiveness of the Chechen fighters. I thanked those present for their exemplary service. He urged to take care of the units' personnel and promptly report problems related to equipment and other demanded goods," Kadyrov said.
