Pashinyan And Modi Hold Telephone Conversation on Bilateral Relations
On June 24, a telephone conversation took place between Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. During the call, Modi once again congratulated Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections in Armenia and wished him success in his future activities. Pashinyan, in turn, thanked Modi for the congratulations and congratulated him on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history, wishing him continued success in advancing India’s development and welfare.
The two leaders emphasized the importance of the steady development of friendly relations between Armenia and India, noting the positive momentum in bilateral cooperation. They highlighted the growing intensity of political dialogue and stressed the expansion of collaboration in areas such as the economy, high technologies, education, culture, and other mutually beneficial sectors.
The discussion also covered cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats, with the sides exchanging views on steps aimed at further deepening engagement across various areas of the Armenia-India agenda. Both Prime Ministers underlined the importance of organizing high-level reciprocal visits, considering them essential for strengthening ties and launching new initiatives between the two countries.
