Speaker of Chechen parliament complained about blackmailing
The Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Federal Republic Magomed Daudov spoke about the people who write on Instagram on his behalf.
“There is a scammer on Instagram who engages in illegal activities from fake pages. He writes to users of the social network, tries to gain trust, solicits photos from gullible girls, and then blackmails his victims for money. Cases of pressure and extortion of large sums of money through virtual payment systems," Daudov flagged.
He also noted that "he applied to the special services to take appropriate measures,"
2 million 600 thousand people are subscribed to Daudov's real account.
Daudov previously criticised young people for communicating on social networks. Because of this, online patrols have begun to work in Chechnya, which will identify posts that do not correspond to traditional values, and Daudov personally monitors broadcasts on Tik-Tok.
Last week, several bloggers with a million followes on Instagram, including Morgenstern, posted the account ya_pomoshnik_kra_95 among their subscriptions. Formally, it is dedicated to tourism in Chechnya, but in reality, it publishes photographs and videos about the activities and life of the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, whose official page on the social network was blocked due to US sanctions.
