9,000 Volunteers Trained in Chechnya Since Beginning of Russo-Ukrainian War

On January 5, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that more than 9,000 fighters had already been trained at the Russian Special Forces University in Gudermes during the "special military operation."
According to him, the university has become “a kind of magnet that attracts true patriots of the Fatherland.” "Hundreds of young people from all over the country regularly flock here, ready to defend its sovereignty and integrity at the call of their hearts, and this is far from the limit of all possibilities," Kadyrov noted. "The best conditions for training have been created here. Volunteers receive modern, high-quality equipment and other necessary equipment for full-fledged training and the subsequent performance of combat missions on the front line," he assured.
"During the accelerated course, volunteers live in a tent camp on the territory of the [university]. They are fed three balanced meals per day. There are specially equipped playgrounds for sport," the head of Chechnya reported. "Under the strict guidance of our experienced instructors, all arrivals undergo tactical, fire, engineering, technical, topographic, medical, informational, and ideological training. The learning process is constantly being improved based on the experience gained," Kadyrov added.
