The Armenian Defence Ministry held meetings on military cooperation plans with Greece and Cyprus, according to the Armenian Defence Ministry's press office.

The Armenian delegation was led by Leon Ayvazyan, the head of the Defence Ministry's Defence Policy and International Cooperation Department, the Greek delegation was led by Col. Socrates Serves, the head of the National Military Cooperation Planning and Implementation Department, and the Cypriot delegation was led by Col. Lukas Hadjikonstantinos, the head of the National Guard's Strategy and Policy Department.

The sides are said to have reviewed what has been accomplished in recent years as part of bilateral and trilateral military collaboration between Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus, as well as discussing future cooperation potential. They also talked about several problems concerning regional security and international trends. Ayvazyan discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as well as in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), emphasising the need of regional stability and peace initiatives.

The Armenia-Greece 2022 Bilateral Military Cooperation Program and the Armenia-Greece-Cyprus Tripartite Cooperation Action Plan (the Bilateral Military Cooperation Program between Armenia and Cyprus for 2022 was signed in October 2021) were signed based on the agreements reached during the consultations.

The inked papers call for a variety of operations in Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus, including special forces combat training, peacekeeping, military medical, engineering, and information and experience sharing.
