On June 14, while answering journalists' questions after he visited Azerbaijan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that the Zangezur Corridor is not a problem with Armenia but with Iran. "This worries Turkey," he added.

"As for the Zangezur Corridor, this is not a problem related to Armenia. The Zangezur Corridor is a problem related to Iran. In other words, it is a problem for two Muslim countries. Iran's position on this issue worries both Azerbaijan and us," Erdoğan said.

"In fact, it should worry them too. In addition, the tolls from a carriage here are unfortunately very high. I hope we will solve this problem soon. If they take a positive approach to this, today Turkey-Azerbaijan-Iran will be integrated both by road and railway, and maybe the Beijing-London line would be opened," the Turkish President emphasized.
