Joint Georgian-Polish Enterprise Tests Combat & Intelligence Crewless Aerial Vehicles
On January 27, combat and intelligence crewless aerial vehicles (UAVs) manufactured by a Georgian-Polish enterprise Delta-WB LLC, completed the test flight, the Georgian government reported.
The firing range of the Krtsanisi Support Center hosted the demonstration flight of the WARMATE loitering munition and FLYEYE intelligence UAVs. Georgia's Prime Minister (Irakli Garibashvili) and Interior (Vakhtang Gomelauri) and Defense (Juansher Burchuladze) ministers also attended the occasion. Delta-WB LLC was founded by Georgian state-run armaments producer Delta International LLC and WB Electronics SA, a commercial military sector organization in Poland. The Georgian-Polish company will have the capacity to produce hundreds of drones annually. According to the government, the corporation now assures methods for simplifying the Warmate and FLYEYE UAV production line.
Delta-WB and the Georgian Defense Ministry have signed a contract to advance the military industry, which calls for establishing the first UAV training facility in the area. The government noted that the appropriate defense personnel will receive new training from the center's qualified teachers.
