Kadyrov and Putin Strategize on Chechnya's 2024 Development Plans

On February 23, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Federal Republic, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow to discuss various aspects of the region's development and the service of Chechen units in the NWO (North-Western Operation) zone [Russo-Ukrainian War].

During the meeting, Kadyrov expressed his interest in the socio-economic situation in Chechnya and outlined plans for the region's development in 2024. He briefed Putin on key areas requiring attention from the federal center, including investment projects. The Chechen leader highlighted Putin's attentive approach to addressing all issues related to Chechnya's development, with each meeting resulting in well-considered decisions.

During the discussion, Putin inquired about the service conditions of Chechen units deployed in the NWO zone. Kadyrov provided updates on the combat readiness, service conditions, equipment, and achievements of the units along the contact line. He also mentioned the full readiness of reserve units to mobilize into the special operation zone upon command. Putin appreciated the efforts of Chechen fighters and their contributions to the special military operation, extending his gratitude, congratulations, and best wishes to them on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.
