Kadyrov Awarded Russia's Ludwig Nobel Prize for Supporting War in Ukraine
On August 9, in Grozny, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, was awarded Russia's Ludvig Nobel Prize.
The award was presented by a delegation from the award's council for Kadyrov's contributions to the goals of the 'special military operation' [Russia's war in Ukraine], his support for the fighters, his active civil position, and his efforts to strengthen inter-ethnic and inter-religious harmony.
"It is a great honor for me to be among the award winners. I believe this is not only my personal achievement but also a reflection of the efforts of the entire team founded by the first President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov. We are striving to create favorable conditions in the republic, contributing to society's development and improving people's quality of life. I am very glad our efforts do not go unnoticed," Kadyrov commented on the award.
