In a dynamic meeting on October 11, Narek Karapetyan, the coordinator of the "Our Way" movement, revealed that 5,000 volunteers had joined the movement within a month and a half, with hundreds of new members joining daily. During the first reporting meeting of the movement, Narek Karapetyan stated that if this pace continued, the number of supporters would reach tens of thousands in the coming months, calling it a major step toward irreversible change. He emphasized that the driving force behind their growing support was businessman Samvel Karapetyan, noting, "We are all confident that Samvel Karapetyan will be consistent, will preserve our honor, and will not look at the pennies for which our people have worked. With his ideas and programs, we will make Armenia a model country".

Speaking about national challenges, Narek Karapetyan noted that the Karabakh victory had been lost and that Armenia’s national identity was under threat. He stated that national symbols were disappearing and stressed the importance of learning lessons from the 44-day war. "One of the worst traits of our nation is that we relax, win with difficulty, and then relax. As a result, for 30 years, the enemy has been strengthening its forces, while we have been ‘relaxing,’" he emphasized. Karapetyan called on all political forces aspiring to power to stay alert and "be one step ahead of their neighbors every day".

He also addressed the detention of Samvel Karapetyan, stating that "a small group of people didn’t like his defense of the church". According to him, Samvel Karapetyan declared from prison that "even in a prison cell, he is freer than a small group isolated from the people". During the meeting, Aram Vardevanyan presented a message from Samvel Karapetyan, who had been in custody for over 110 days. In his address, Karapetyan stated that the "Our Way" movement had significantly influenced Armenia’s political life. "This is your achievement and the achievement of all of us, and it should become the achievement of the entire Armenian people," he said. Expressing gratitude to the thousands who had joined, he added, "We will not retreat, we will not stop, and we will make Armenia the most prosperous and happy country. We will do it our way".

Constitutional law specialist Gohar Meloyan, who joined the movement, criticized the ruling authorities for failing to honor their civic contract. She stated that the government was trying to convince citizens of their powerlessness. "I will not resign myself to despair. We will restore the rule of law so that everyone feels free and protected," she emphasized, adding that the source of power in Armenia must again be the people.

Another speaker, Arega Hovsepyan, a member of the movement, discussed Armenia’s approach to peace, saying, "There is no alternative to peace; the alternative is peace guaranteed by guarantees". She explained that true peace required "a powerful state, a strong economy, a unified society, and a multi-centered foreign policy". Hovsepyan argued that Armenia could become "a center for international economic projects and a high-tech hub" without compromising sovereignty or national interests. She further emphasized that "the protection of the rights of the people of Karabakh and their rights in international bodies" was non-negotiable and that "the issue of Karabakh’s return is not closed for us".

Hayk Farmanyan, another member of the "Our Way" movement, highlighted Armenia’s economic difficulties, stating that over the past year more than 2,000 small and medium-sized businesses had closed. He described the economy as "colonial" and proposed transforming it into an industrial one "based on the latest technologies". Farmanyan sharply criticized the ruling party’s economic policies, pointing out that the turnover tax had doubled in recent years.

At a press conference held the same day, Narek Karapetyan declared that the movement aimed to ensure the Civil Contract party would become the opposition for a second time. "If any of our steps could contribute to a split in the opposition and the ruling party’s retention of power, we will, of course, be against it," he stated. Referring to the Electric Networks of Armenia, Karapetyan reminded that tariffs and procurement were approved by the Public Services Regulatory Commission, while "all other expenses are borne by Samvel Karapetyan from his personal funds".

In a separate conversation with journalists, Narek Karapetyan said that the movement’s candidate for prime minister "will be acceptable, and his candidacy will be universally approved". He added that they would announce the candidate when a political force was formally created. "We stated that we will not enter into an electoral alliance with Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, but we did not say that we will not cooperate or form an alliance with any representative of these forces," he emphasized.

Speaking about foreign relations, Narek Karapetyan underlined the importance of ties with Russia while noting that Armenia should also develop a "second line of alliance". He stated that "broader, international alliances are acceptable for Armenia," and criticized the ruling party for failing to build relations in any direction. Discussing regional agreements, Karapetyan urged caution regarding the "Trump route" and the trilateral statement in which the United States acted as a witness. "Our formula at this point is to understand the consequences and feasibility of the trilateral statement, and based on that, we will take further steps," he concluded.
