North Caucasus at Very Bottom of Ranking of Wage Dynamics

The regions of the North Caucasian Federal District were among the last 15 constituent entities of Russia in the ranking in terms of wage dynamics. To study the dynamics of salaries, RIA Novosti experts prepared a rating of subjects by the number of years required to achieve a median wage in the region of 100,000 rubles per month. The study estimated the time to reach such a salary (net of personal income tax) while maintaining the nominal wage growth rate at the average value level in the region over the past five years.

Chechnya took 85th place. In the republic, for a salary increase (over EUR 1200), half of the workers will need 17.5 years. 75% of employees will have a salary of EUR 1200 in 22.8 years, and 25% in the region will have it in 12.8 years.

Ingushetia is in 84th place with an indicator of 17.3 years (for 50% of employees), 21.1 years (for 75% of employees), and 12.5 years (for 25%).

Kabardino-Balkaria became 83rd on the list. In this region, 75% of employees will have a salary of 100 thousand rubles in 19.7 years, 50% in 15.8 years, and 25% in 11.1 years. Karachay-Cherkessia took 81st place. Here, 75% of employees need 19.8 years to achieve a salary of 100 thousand rubles, 50% of employees - 15.3 years, and 25% - 10.9 years.

North Ossetia is located on the 82nd place. To achieve a salary of 100 thousand rubles, 75% of employees will need 20 years, 50% - after 15.3 years, and 25% - after 9.9 years. The Stavropol Territory has 79th place in the ranking. It will take 18.4 years for 75% of employees to rise above 100,000 rubles, 14 years for 50%, and 9.6 years for 25%. Dagestan turned out to be the highest among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. Here, 75% of workers will need 17.7 years, 50% - 13.3 years, and 25% - 9.1 years.
