Ramzan Kadyrov comments on the situation in Turkey

On February 14, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, said, "At a site assigned to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Turkey, at a depth of more than four meters, a man was found alive and rescued."

"Russian specialists are involved in the elimination of the consequences of the earthquake on the territory, which turned out to be at the very epicenter of the destruction," he added. "The adviser to the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, Daniil Martynov, said that the man was rescued from the captivity of reinforced concrete debris thanks to the joint efforts of Russian, Belarusian, and Kyrgyz rescuers. The victim stayed under the rubble for more than 160 hours after the natural disaster," Kadyrov said.

According to him, Russian doctors provided first aid to the man right at the place of discovery. He was given droppers at the bottom of the blockage to maintain and stabilize his health. Then they pulled him to the surface and handed him to the ambulance staff. "This case can be called a miracle since finding a person alive and saving a person after almost seven days of being under the rubble without food or water and in the poor physical condition is a truly amazing fact," Kadyrov added.

Kadyrov urged not to disclose the death toll during the "special operation"

Ramzan Kadyrov called on the regional authorities to deal with the problems of the families of the dead and injured soldiers and not comment on the losses.

"In the performance of combat missions, losses are inevitable. The special operation in Ukraine is no exception. Crushing the satanic evil spirits, our guys are dying, and we will remember each of them. But I do not understand why the leaders of the regions trumpet the number of deaths in the special operation [Russo-Ukrainian War]. I have a question: for what? They write everything in the smallest details and details," Kadyrov wrote.

He emphasized that the guys themselves chose this heroic path consciously. "The commanding staff is doing everything possible to save the soldiers' lives as much as possible." "There is no need to manipulate the topic of our heroes by writing that so many died in such and such a region and so many in another. The man left with dignity, defending his state. So, keep a clean memory of him. The memory of a hero!" the official emphasized.

"Chechens also lose their sons, but instead of talking about it everywhere, we help families with everything they need, including payments of 1 million rubles in the event of the death of a soldier and 500,000 for an injury. Payments are made even before the provision of material assistance from the Ministry of Defense. This is the most appropriate thing that can be done in the current situation," he underlined. "I urge the authorities on the ground to deal with the issues of the families of the dead and injured fighters and not comment on the losses," Chechnya's leader concluded
