Ramzan Kadyrov Ready to Send 3,000 Chechen Fighters to Ukraine
On November 28, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that three thousand Chechen fighters were ready to be sent to the "special military operation" zone in Ukraine.
The Chechen leader stated that "two regiments of worthy Chechen warriors" had already begun service as part of new units of the Russian Defense Ministry and Rosgvardia (Russia's National Guard).
"I was personally convinced of this when I participated in the formation of the personnel of the two new regiments under the jurisdiction of the Russian Defense Ministry - Akhmat-Russia and Akhmat-Chechnya, as well as the Sheikh Mansur Battalion. Fighters from the new Baysangur Benoevsky operational battalion of the North Caucasus district of the National Guard troops were also present here," Kadyrov said.
He emphasized that most of the fighters already have experience of participation in combat operations in the North Caucasus district of the National Guard. Each of them has been trained by the best instructors of the Russian Special Forces University. "They have the best equipment and modern weapons. In addition, the guys are characterized by high combat ability and are very motivated for results," the statement said.
The Chechen leader stressed that the fighters were already ready to go to the "special military zone" to counter Nazi and NATO aggression. He said they were highly motivated and capable of carrying out tasks of any complexity.
