Kadyrov commented on “release” of Azovstal
The head of the Chechen Federal Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, commented on the complete ‘liberation’ (occupation) of the Mariupol Azovstal plant and called on the Ukrainians fighting in Lisichansk and Severodonetsk to think about their families and lay down their arms.
“They have surrendered, but there are still like-minded people who allegedly protect the Ukrainian people. But the Ukrainian people are protected most of all by Vladimir Putin,” Kadyrov said. He advised the Ukrainian military, who are now in Severodonetsk and Lysichansk, to lay down their arms as soon as possible before the RF Armed Forces destroy them. “I very much ask everyone who is resisting in Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, around these settlements, so that they come to their senses and lay down their arms until they are driven into a corner, until they are destroyed, not wounded. They have families at home, children, wives are waiting,” Kadyrov said. According to the head of Chechnya, by refusing to continue fighting, these people will confirm that Russia and Ukraine must live in peace and harmony. “Otherwise, we are cruel: we will not spare anyone who has taken up arms. We showed good results yesterday and today - many of these shaitans were destroyed. And tomorrow or the day after tomorrow there will be very good results,” Kadyrov warned.
Kadyrov on Peskov: “We are friends, but I don't like his statements”
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, spoke about his relationship with the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, whose statements he periodically criticises.
“We are family friends with Dmitry Sergeyevich, but there are times when I don’t like his statements. Among other things, I had correspondence with him, where I showed my dissatisfaction with the fact that he did not give you (the interviewer) the floor,” Kadyrov said.
The point is that at the annual press conference of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chechen journalists were not allowed to ask questions. Ramzan Kadyrov called skirmishes with Peskov working moments.
“He is asked provocative questions about me, and he must answer them. And so, we are always in touch, we correspond. His children and family come to visit us. But some people think that if Kadyrov now said something against Peskov, then there will be a war, problems. I must protect my people and my region, the interests of our people. Therefore, no matter what anyone says about my people, about the republic, I must respond to it,” he said.
On the eve of May 17, Dmitry Peskov said that he and Ramzan Kadyrov are on good terms. “Ramzan Kadyrov and I are on very good terms and in the course of our communication we sometimes criticise each other in a friendly way," Peskov said.
Kadyrov said that Putin fighting against Satanism
Satanism is the main enemy for the Russian state, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced live on the New Horizons marathon. “They are doing everything to dismember us, to destroy our culture, history, to consign our heroes to oblivion. This is what our President Putin is fighting against,” Kadyrov said.
He urged the audience to look up to Vladimir Putin. “We have a Supreme Commander; he is an example for us. I advise everyone to look up to this unique person - he is smart and educated, aware of everything that happens on the territory of the country. I can forget the name of the village of my region from excitement, but he does not forget. And you should always be prepared when you go to meet him. And the people trust him very much,” the head of Chechnya said.
Chechnya helps in “restoration” of occupied Mariupol
Peaceful life is being established in Mariupol and work has begun on the restoration of urban infrastructure and socially significant facilities. The city will be restored according to the experience of Chechnya. Deputy of the State Duma of Russia Adam Delimkhanov and Chairman of the Chechen Parliament Magomed Daudov got acquainted with the progress of restoration work on behalf of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.
In a video that Kadyrov posted on social networks, Delimkhanov said that "Mariupol will become better than it was.” According to Kadyrov, the city authorities plan to adopt the experience of the Chechen Republic. “Our practice of quick and high-quality restoration of a comfortable and beautiful urban environment will provide significant support to local authorities,” the head of Chechnya noted.
As part of the working visit, Delimkhanov and Daudov met with the head of the Mariupol administration, Konstantin Ivashchenko.
“Konstantin Vladimirovich expressed his desire for close and mutually beneficial cooperation with the Chechen Republic. He also noted the contribution of our security forces to the liberation of Mariupol from militants of nationalist battalions and the charitable assistance of the Regional Public Foundation named after the Hero of Russia Akhmat-hadji Kadyrov. I am grateful to Konstantin Vladimirovich for the kind words addressed to the Chechen Republic. All our efforts were aimed primarily at helping ordinary people who, by chance, found themselves in a difficult life situation,” Kadyrov said. “Thanks to the fighters of the allied forces of Russia and Donbas, Mariupol was rescued from nationalist captivity. Now the only thing left to do is to return the city to its former appearance and at the same time make it even more beautiful and attractive,” he added.
