Ilham Aliyev received Selçuk Bayraktar

On April 3, Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, received Selçuk Bayraktar, the Chief Technology Officer of Turkey's Baykar company, the Press Office of the Azerbaijani President reported.

Mentioning Turkey’s defense industry’s tremendous achievements in recent years, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that Baykar company's operations played a leading role in this regard and once again highlighted the part of the products manufactured by the company in the destruction of Armenian invaders’ military equipment during the Patriotic War.

The successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all fields, including the military and defense industry, was stressed during the conversation. They also shared views on prospects for cooperation.

Azerbaijan Defense Minister met with Selçuk Bayraktar

On April 3, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of Defense, met with Selçuk Bayraktar, the Press Office of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.

Bayraktar expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality, noted that he was pleased with the visit to Azerbaijan and that such meetings are essential in expanding cooperation.

The current state and prospects for developing military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey were discussed at the meeting.

In the end, the Azerbaijan Defense Minister awarded Bayraktar with the medal "For services in the field of military cooperation."

On April 4, Ilham Aliyev received Mustafa Varank, Turkey's Minister of Industry and Technology.

During the conversation, they hailed the development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in various areas, including industry and technology. They exchanged views on the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
