Aslan Bzhania, the de-facto President of the separatist Abkhazia, who participated in the 1st Caucasian Investment Exhibition in Minvody, said that many large projects that can be implemented in the republic were implemented with Russian investors' support.

"We can say that we have a single economic space in which almost similar rules work. Therefore, our delegation is here today," Bzhania said. He spoke about some investment projects that will be implemented in Abkhazia. "Currently, we are working on a project to restore air traffic and reconstruct Sokhumi International Airport, named after V. G. Ardzinba. Not so long ago, a scheme for the gasification of Abkhazia was presented. We expect that we will soon move on to the practical implementation of this initiative," Bzhania added.

Major projects in the field of tourism are also being considered. "We are discussing large-scale construction work, complexes, and tourist clusters. In this segment, there are those nodes where we can and should interact," the de-facto President of Abkhazia emphasized.
